WILD RICE – Minnesota Cultivated

Wild rice from Minnesota, United States

The seeds of the wild rice are harvested as grain. Wild rice is not a rice strain, unlike what most people think. American wild rice comes from the Lakes ge offer of the State of Minnesota. There is the growing (‘ cultivation ‘) place on irrigated fields, about as with ‘ regular ‘ rice.

The operations after the harvest are similar to those of the Canadian wild rice.

Also this product is characterized by a nice, whole grain, a fine taste and excellent shelf life. This rice has in contrast to the Canadian wild rice a short cooking time of 20 minutes.
